Würth Reports Success of Air Conditioning Service Network

Würth UK claims that its instigation of a nationwide vehicle air conditioning service network highlights the motor trade's failure to exploit a John Potterservice requirement offering substantial profit potential.

A network of nearly 1,000 franchised dealers and independent garages, recruited by Würth last year, provided motorists with a full disinfecting service for car air conditioning using the company's saBesto a/C Disinfectant Spray at a special fixed price. To promote the service, Würth placed adverts in the national press and a range of point of sale material was circulated to participating service departments.

The supplier reports that the service has proved highly profitable for many dealers. Since the campaign started in mid-summer, two franchised dealers in Hull have been treating 30 cars per month, creating £3,600 in additional profit from the service operation. Service Technician, John Potter, is pictured applying Würth's Disinfectant Spray at Janard Saab in Hull.
